Eric Seow Li Hong, Senior Clinical Research Associate / Trainer, Singapore Clinical Research Institute
Eric Seow is a highly experienced healthcare professional with over 20 years of expertise in nursing, clinical research, and operations management, covering phase I - III clinical trials. He began his career at Pfizer as a Research Nurse, and moved to Eli Lilly, where he specialized in glucose clamp studies, phase I trials, and first-in-human research. Eric spent 14 years at National University Hospital (NUH) and SingHealth as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where he managed complex multi-phase trials and upheld high standards of regulatory compliance. Subsequently, he transitioned to Nanyang Technological University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (NTU LKC) as Operations Manager - leading strategic planning and execution of clinical research operations and population health studies. Since 2019, Eric has been a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and trainer at the Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI), mentoring and training future clinical research professionals.

PeiYun Christelle Tan is the Director & Founder of MedMosaic, a HealthTech startup leveraging artificial intelligence to automate regulatory and medical review processes, focused on improving patient access to clinical trials and regulatory governance in medicine. Christelle has over 17 years of experience in clinical research, medical governance, and regional operations at multinational companies including Pfizer, GSK, Takeda, IQVIA, and CSI Medical Research. Her career highlights include pioneering medical education projects, supporting early access to COVID-19 vaccines, and executing complex clinical trials. Christelle holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Pharmacology from King’s College London. She leads a multidisciplinary team of 7 software, AI engineers & data scientists advancing AI adoption in biopharmaceutical and life sciences industry.

Serene Ong, Founder, Phoenixus
Serene Ong is a dynamic corporate leader, visionary founder, and mother of six, with over 20 years of experience spanning business development, healthcare, logistics, and clinical trials. Her career includes collaborations with start-ups, pharmaceutical companies, venture capital firms, hospitals, and global clinical trial organizations across the US, Europe, and Asia. Serene holds a Executive MBA from INSEAD, a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the National University of Singapore, a Minor in Technopreneurship from Stanford University. Most recently, Serene held dual executive roles at Marken, a UPS healthcare logistics company, serving as Vice President of Global Sales Operations and Vice President of Commercial Operations for Asia Pacific, where she led strategic initiatives and commercial growth across regions. In 2023, she founded Phoenixus, a network of senior women leaders dedicated to mentoring emerging female leaders and supporting underprivileged women and children.
