Overview

FALLING WALLS LAB IS COMING TO SINGAPORE! Which wall will your research break? Pitch your innovative idea in just three minutes and showcase a breakthrough that creates a positive impact on science and society.

Falling Walls Lab is a world-class pitch competition and networking forum that brings together a diverse and interdisciplinary pool of students and early-career professionals. The programme provides a stage for participants to share breakthrough ideas on a local and global scale, develop their communication skills, foster collaboration and create a community of changemakers. Participants are given the opportunity to present their impactful ideas to peers, a high-calibre jury of experts from academia and industry, and the general public.

Falling Walls Lab is organised by the Falling Walls Foundation and generously funded by Berlin’s Natural History Museum (global finale), Google and Springer Nature (international Labs). It is supported by the Sartorius, the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The international Falling Walls Lab network includes renowned academic institutions from over 50 countries, such as ETH Zürich, Tohoku University, and the University of Cape Town.
