More than 140 venture firms, accelerators, incubators and other members of the startup community in Southeast Asia are coming out strongly to support a community-led charity fundraising campaign aiming to raise the equivalent of 50,000 meals for those in need, by offering mentoring and virtual classes to startup founders affected by the COVID crisis.
Entropica Labs, a Singapore-based Quantum Computing software startup, has raised S$2.6 million (US$1.8 million) in a seed funding round led by Elev8, a VC firm focused on Deep Tech opportunities. Other participating investors include SGInnovate, Wavemaker Partners, Lim Teck Lee Group, Japanese software firm TIS Inc, V1 Capital, and Entrepreneur First.
MicroPort Scientific Corporation announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with Singapore-based NDR Medical Technology Private Limited to lead a strategic investment of S$8 million in NDR in a Series A round of funding. Other investors include SGInnovate and Kava Ventures.
