CYSAT ASIA will be the first major Asian edition of the world’s leading event dedicated to space cybersecurity, a unique opportunity to connect the European and Asia–Pacific ecosystems at a time of rapid space innovation and rising cyber risks.

Anna Beata Kalisz Hedegaard

Anna is the founder of QuantumPrime, a deep-tech startup building entanglement infrastructure for 6G and secure space communications. Also, she co-founded and serves as executive director of the Quantum Security and Defense Working Group (QSECDEF). She is an active figure in Europe’s quantum startup scene and has been recognized with the Femtum Leap Award: Rising Star (2025) at Quantum Innovation Summit in Dubai organized by Vernewell Group, named the Top 10 Women in Engineering in Poland (2025) by Perspektywy Women in Tech and won in entrepreneurship category, and included in the Hot 10 (2025) by Quantum.Tech in Rotterdam as global leading voice in quantum. CEO of Spacetalk, the neutral platform for global space traffic coordination. Lawyer admitted to the Geneva Bar and holds a Doctorate in Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is a specialist in Space Law with 15 years of experience working with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Union (EU). During his tenure at ESA, he contributed to the development and operation of various launch systems, including Ariane 5, Ariane 6, Vega, and Vega-C. Additionally, he played a key role in providing launch services for ESA missions, such as CHEOPS, James Webb Space Telescope, JUICE, Euclid, SMILE, AEOLUS, EarthCARE, BIOMASS, ALTIUS, FLEX, Arctic Weather, IRIDE, CubeSat of FYS, and Proba 3. Corey McClelland

Mr. McClelland has worked in a variety of executive, operations, technology, research and development, and business roles in the energy, defense, healthcare, cybersecurity, quantum and computer science industries. With industry experience at Science Applications International Corporation, SAIC, Sempra Energy for SDG&E and for Qubitekk a quantum networking company as the chief revenue officer. Currently, working with IonQ, a publicly traded quantum computer, sensing and networking company with a focus on quantum networks. Mr. McClelland was an ocean in-surf rescue boat operator and founder and Chairman Emeritus’s of the Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego. Emna drives CYSEC’s innovation and intellectual property strategy. She has extensive experience in managing R&D projects and a strong background in quantum systems for security applications. With a proven track record in introducing technological innovations to the market and securing multiple competitive bids in the space sector, she excels at bridging technology and business. Emna holds a PhD in Quantum Technologies from the University of Geneva and an international Master’s in Micro and Nanotechnologies from EPFL (Switzerland), INPG (France), and Polito (Italy). Eric Adolphe

Eric Adolphe is a NASA-recognized innovator, mission-driven technologist, and Founder & CEO of Forward Edge-AI, a U.S. company advancing quantum-secure and AI-enabled defense systems for air, land, sea, and space. A former FAA engineer, he has four decades of experience developing life-protection systems at the intersection of cybersecurity, autonomy, and aerospace innovation. He is a National Inventors Hall of Fame Honoree and winner of NASA's Highest Civilian Honors for space safety technology, with solutions used in the ATLAS V rocket system. Under his leadership, Forward Edge-AI develops quantum-resistant hardware and AI-governance frameworks for defense partners like the U.S. Space Force, addressing threats from Adversarial AI. James Stanger

Dr. James Stanger has consulted with corporations, governments, and academic institutions about cybersecurity, data analytics, and emerging technologies for over 25 years. Organizations include AWS, the University of Cambridge, HSBC, Zscaler, the UK Houses of Parliament, the Japan Ministry of Defense, the United States Department of Defense, and the Australian Signal Directorate. This EU-supported program, in partnership with ESA, PhilSA, and DOST, builds national capacity to use Copernicus Earth Observation (EO) data for services like environmental monitoring and disaster resilience. With nine years of experience leading multinational teams, Monica coordinates technical and institutional efforts and contributes Philippine perspectives to regional discussions on space resilience and cybersecurity in the Asia-Pacific. Pak Ho Chan

Robert Bedington

Robert is co-founder and CTO of SpeQtral, a Quantum Communications company specialising in satellite quantum key distribution and co-developer of the SPEQTRE entanglement-based quantum communications satellite. Satellite QKD is enabling global secured communications that are resilient against hacking by future quantum computers. SpeQtral is a spin-out company from the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore where Robert was previously a senior research fellow and satellite team lead for the SpooQy-1 CubeSat mission. SpooQy-1 launched in 2019 and successfully demonstrated quantum entanglement in space. In the same year Robert was recognised by MIT as one of ten Innovators under 35 for the Asia Pacific region.

Mr Thibault VALENTIN is a Policy Officer working in the space sector in the European Commission since 2021. He is responsible for Space partnerships for Asia and the Pacific notably in the field of Earth observation in the DG for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) since 2023. Prior to that he worked in the Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space on the evolution of Copernicus – component of the EU Space programme, and on EU Space Policy as Policy Assistant. Before joining the European Commission, he worked in business associations for EU advocacy and in economic diplomacy. He holds a double Master of Arts (MA) in political science (European affairs) and international relations (spe. security and defence) from the Institute of Political Science of Strasbourg.

Andrey Doukhvalov

Working in the software business for almost 30 years, Andrey has been employed in various roles – from software engineer to software strategic architect – in system and application-level software development projects. For the last 20 years Andrey has been developing security software at Kaspersky. Future Technologies Department led by Andrey is busy with new cyber protecting methodology researching and developing of new technologies on that base. One of Andrey’s key current projects is the radically new secure operating system being developed as a platform dedicated to a wide range of specialized solutions where trust is of paramount importance. Another important Andrey’s project is Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity – dedicated solution to protect industrial control systems against cyber attacks.

Ethan Seow

Ethan Seow is ISACA Singapore’s 2023 Infosec Leader, ISC2 2023 APAC Rising Star Professional in Cybersecurity, and a speaker, educator, and entrepreneur with over 11 years in the field. He is the CEO of Practical Cyber, which provides holistic cybersecurity education for both non-IT business personnel and technical training across different experience levels, focusing on real-world simulations. Currently, he is the CEO and co-founder of the Centre for AI Leadership (C4AIL), a non-profit dedicated to closing the gap in AI talent development and best practices. He is also part of the AI Security Working Group of the National AI Office (NAIO) of Malaysia and actively engages in regional talks and workshops. Ethan is a lead crew of Divison Zero (Div0), Singapore’s largest cybersecurity community, and SINCON. He has trained and placed people with organizations including Singapore’s Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), SMRT, and GSK.

Will Howerton

Will Howerton is the Managing Director of IQT's Singapore office, where he oversees the firm's Asian investment activity. Prior to relocating to Singapore, Will was with IQT's investment team in Menlo Park, California. He joined IQT after serving on the corporate development teams at cybersecurity leaders Zscaler and Palo Alto Networks, where he executed M&A and strategic investment initiatives. He began his career as a consultant at Good Harbor Consulting, where he helped boards of directors and executive teams develop corporate strategies to manage cybersecurity risk. With a background in political science and a family deeply rooted in the aerospace sector, she has found her passion in hosting the Master Stage sessions at CYSAT. Over the years, Margaux has brought energy and elegance to the stage, interviewing some of the most prominent figures in the industry — including Josef Aschbacher, Commander Philippe Adam, Massimo Mercati, and many others. David Koh

Mr. David Koh is Singapore’s first Commissioner of Cybersecurity and the founding Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore. He is concurrently Chief (Digital Security & Technology) at the Ministry of Communications and Information. As Commissioner, he has the legal authority to investigate cyber threats and incidents to ensure that essential services are not disrupted in the event of a cyber-attack. As Chief Executive of CSA, he leads Singapore’s efforts to provide dedicated and centralised oversight of national cyber security functions. Concurrently, as Chief (Digital Security & Technology), he oversees digital security policy and technology capability development in the Ministry of Communications and Information

Jonathan Hung

Mr. Hung’s international work experience includes senior management roles with CAE Inc., Rheinmetall, ST Engineering and Flex, where he’s credited for establishing and leading their successful Advanced Innovation Centre. He also co-founded Singapore’s Space Trade organisation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hung was in government service as Centre Director for Middle East & North Africa Operations at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). Mr. Hung currently serves on the Board of the World Robot Olympiad Association, chairs the Asia Pacific Sub-Committee at the International Astronautical Federation, and is an Honorary Board Member at the Space Generation Advisory Council. Prior to his appointment with the National Space Office, he had served board tenures on various successful SpaceTech start-ups and provided expert advisory services to emerging space economies.
