Dan Klyashtorny

Daniel Klyashtorny leads the IBM Research partnerships for AI infrastructure and hybrid cloud platform innovations. In this role, Daniel is responsible for a team of business development executives who work with partners globally on establishing strategic relationships that advance a partner’s AI priorities through business relationships that include cutting-edge AI infrastructure, joint research, and ecosystem development. In so doing, Daniel works closely with a range of partners including startups and ISVs, enterprise clients, universities and government entities to develop strategic relationships that help to advance the partner’s and IBM’s AI priorities. Prior to joining IBM, Daniel held several roles including VP of strategic initiatives for the global markets business of a leading global investment bank, and PwC where he was a management consultant in the banking and capital markets group.

Donny Rose, IBM Research Business Development, IBM
Donny Rose

Donny Rose is a Business Development Executive at IBM Research who works with clients around the world to create partnerships in AI infrastructure that enable them to implement their AI strategy and advance the state of the art in the industry. Throughout his career, Donny held positions as a developer, program manager, development manager, and research manager. Most recently before his current role, Donny was on the technical side of IBM Research, working on small team investigating applications for foundation models that expanded rapidly and set the direction for IBM’s generative AI strategy.

Edward Barth, IBM Research Business Development, IBM
Edward Barth

Dr. Edward Barth is a Senior Business Development Executive at IBM Research, leading strategic partnerships in AI, semiconductors, hybrid cloud, and quantum computing. Over more than twenty years, he has driven major collaborations and launched the IBM Research AI Hardware Center. He began his IBM career in advanced chipmaking technologies and now focuses on semiconductor and AI infrastructure partnerships. He has also contributed to technology policy through roles at Purdue University’s Krach Institute, the Hudson Institute, and SEMATECH. A metallurgist and materials scientist by training, he holds degrees from Columbia University and the University of Texas, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University, and holds six U.S. patents with over thirty publications.
