​NVIDIA and Tribe are looking for the most forward-looking AI startups to create and bring to market the next wave of advancement in AI solutions/applications. Together, we are launching a program to work closely with promising AI companies to nurture high-potential tech founders and accelerate market access.

​​Join us for an invite-only meet-and-greet to speak with VP of Developer Relations and Global Head of Startups from NVIDIA, CEO of Tribe, and guests from Square Peg, Temasek, to learn about the resources available to support eligible startups, and to meet like-minded founders building with emerging AI technologies.

Richard Kerris , Vice President of Developer Relations, Head of Media and Entertainment, NVIDIA
Richard Kerris

Richard Kerris is the vice president of developer relations at NVIDIA and head of media and entertainment at NVIDIA. He is responsible for the industry strategy and marketing of media and entertainment, and he drives company-wide initiatives for developer relations. With a career spanning Alias|Wavefront, Apple, Lucasfilm and other major tech brands, Richard has extensive experience driving marketing and product development with a focus on bringing new ideas to life. Prior to NVIDIA, Richard was the director of Maya at Alias|Wavefront, senior director of developer relations at Apple, and chief technology officer of Lucasfilm. He also serves on the Bay Area Board of the Visual Effects Society and is an active member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. He is also a semi-professional photographer and accomplished musician.

Susan Marshall, Senior Director of Developer Relations, NVIDIA
Susan Marshall

Susan Marshall is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Developer Relations at NVIDIA, a role that involves fostering relationships within the developer community and supporting NVIDIA's technological outreach and innovation efforts. Marshall's career includes significant tenures at major tech companies such as Adobe, Apple, and Salesforce, where she held leadership positions. In addition to her role at NVIDIA, Susan Marshall is the founder of Torchlite Technologies, a company that focuses on digital marketing solutions. Her extensive background also includes experience in sales and operations, particularly in fast-growing software startups.

Benjamin Chan, Head of NVIDIA Inception Startup Program - Rest of Asia Pacific, NVIDIA
Benjamin Chan

Based in Singapore, Ben oversees the NVIDIA Inception Program, where he is responsible for partnering with key AI startups and VCs across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. His work includes engaging with top startups, facilitating their access to NVIDIA technologies, supporting co-marketing efforts, connecting them with venture capitalists, and promoting their solutions globally. Ben's career has been deeply associated with the startup ecosystem. He has garnered experience working within startups at various stages, co-founded a startup, delved into venture capital, and facilitated corporate innovation between corporations and startups to incubate new business ventures. He is driven by his passion for startups and their innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Ben holds an MBA from IE Business School.

Li Jung Chiu, Head of Startup and Ecosystem, Asia Pacific South, NVIDIA
Li Jung Chiu

Based in Singapore, Li Jung (LJ) overseas NVIDIA Inception Program, where she is responsible for key partnerships with startup ecosystem builder of various forms across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Her work includes startup outreach, facilitating access to NVIDIA Technologies, and foster network connections with and among the startup ecosystem. LJ has a long-standing history of working with and building the startup ecosystem. Prior to joining NVIDIA, she spent more than a decade of her career in Microsoft. Through various positions, helped developed the startup and developer ecosystem and engagements in Asia, land public cloud operations in new markets, and lead pioneering co-engineering projects with strategically selected Fortune 100 companies in their digital transformation efforts.

Benjamin Cistecky

Yi Ming co-founded Tribe Accelerator, Singapore’s first government supported blockchain accelerator. A program to support the growth of blockchain talents and technical innovation. Concurrently, he’s also working on StackUp, a software developer platform currently in development. Yi Ming also leads AngelHack, one of the world’s largest software engineers (developer) community and developer relations company, with more than 300,000 developers and 400 developer ambassadors. With more than 12 years in the business, founded in San Francisco. AngelHack has supported more than 250 global tech organisation to attract, engage, train, retain developers in their ecosystem.

Daniel Ong, Founder, Jan.ai
Daniel Ong

Daniel is the founder of the Homebrew Computer Company, which builds tools to run local AI. He is the lead maintainer for Jan, a desktop AI app that has been downloaded more than 900k times and is one of the more popular Github repos. Homebrew is also working on Cortex, a developer library to run LLMs easily using Nvidia’s accelerated TensorRT-LLM.

Ed Barker, Principal, Square Peg
Ed Barker

Ed Barker is a Principal at Square Peg, a leading global venture capital firm that helps founders from its corners of the world shape the future. At Square Peg, Ed leads and supports investments in companies like Pluang, StashAway, LottieFiles and Kula. In 2020, Ed moved to Singapore to set up Square Peg’s Southeast Asia office. Ed came to Square Peg from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he worked in various roles across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and the United States, and was a core member of the Private Equity practice. Ed grew up in the UK surrounded by computers - building, upgrading and occasionally breaking them. He started his career doing everything from problem-solving BSoDs (blue screen of death) to racking and stacking servers. Ed holds a commerce degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
