Atomionics
Atom-Interferometry based sensing systems
Atomionics - A SGInnovate Portfolio Company More than SGD$50 billion has been spent on sensing solutions for critical needs like navigation and positioning, pinpointing oil and gas reserves, and tunnel detection for Civil Engineering. Despite the vast amount spent, their outcomes are severely inadequate due to the limited precision and accuracy of presently available sensing technologies. Atomionics is building atomic sensors harnessing Quantum mechanical properties of the atoms. It can measure parameters like gravity, acceleration and rotation with 1000x higher precision and accuracy than currently available solutions, thus helping these multi-billion dollar industries improve their outcomes exponentially.
