Melanie is currently the Education Programs Producer at GA Singapore.

Prior to joining the GA family, she was a secondary school visual arts teacher with the Ministry of Education (MOE) for 4 years. She is passionate about learning and teaching and believes that education should be accessible for everyone. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education from York University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) specialising in Arts Management from the University of Toronto.

Amitava Ghosh, Head of R&D, Circles.Life

Amitava Ghosh, an IIT Delhi graduate, has spent 20 years in building large-scale Internet-based products for consumers, e-commerce and enterprises in various large organisations and hyper-growth startups across the bay area and India. He has a very strong understanding of web-based product architecture and development on large scale and leading data science teams.

As the Head of R&D for Circles.Life, Amitava is in charge of the setting up the data science team and the big data system from scratch, as the company seeks to expand its innovation beyond telco.

Amitava spent a decade at Yahoo! as the Director of Engineering for Yahoo!'s Search and Marketplace and Communication group in Bangalore. His team built a common global platform (backend and frontend) for Yahoo!'s listing properties that generated millions of dollar in terms of revenue. Also, he was the CTO for TaxiForSure (acquired by Ola) and led the Bangalore engineering team for Snapdeal. Before joining Circles.Life, Amitava was an entrepreneur and running his own venture in AI-driven business insights space.

Yong Chang Yi, Data Analytics Manager, Carousell

Jia Hui Chow, Data Scientist, Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk)

Jia Hui is an inquisitive individual who is passionate when she puts the entirety of her heart to the task at hand. Currently, she builds deep learning models for Natural Language Processing tasks. She may be a lover of science fiction, but rest assured, these models are not about to gain self-consciousness any time soon.

Jade Wee, Senior Analyst, Regional Marketing Business Intelligence, Grab

What excites Jade Wee every day is to be able to promote brands that she believes and resonates with. Her passion is to constantly learn and to always stay curious to uncover new, interesting and valuable insights. In turn, she hopes that these insights can help to combat pain points within business functions and further optimize business strategies.

She has had a fulfilling undergraduate experience where she had gotten the chance to meet and learn from inspiring and capable individuals. Having been in different committees, she has adapted to be flexible with various team dynamics and thrive in competitive environments. She loves to contribute as a team member and she aspires to be a leader who leads by example.
