Dr. Buzz Palmer, Co-founder and CEO, Actuator

Dr. Buzz Palmer is one of Australia's leading and most visible voices in entrepreneurship and MedTech innovation. Buzz is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Actuator (Australia's National MedTech Catalyst), Founding Partner in Dialectica Group, Co-Founder of HTA, serial entrepreneur and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Monash University. Buzz is a passionate technologist who enjoys mentoring startups on executing their strategy and commercialisation journey.

Nilesh Wadhwa, Director, New Ventures & Transactions, Johnson & Johnson Innovation Asia Pacific

Nilesh Wadhwa is Director of New Ventures and Transactions (Singapore, India & South-East Asia) at Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Asia Pacific. In this role, he is responsible for establishing networks within local biotech ecosystems and forging collaborations with scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs for delivery of innovative solutions covering Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Healthcare and Medical Device sectors.

Nilesh has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences sector. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Nilesh has worked with Solvay (India), Banner Pharmacaps, Sanofi (APac) and Takeda (APac) in roles spanning sales & marketing, international business expansion, and strategy & business development. He has been actively involved in forging a series of alliances and has led and closed several licensing and merger and acquisition projects.

Nilesh received a Bachelors in Pharmacy followed by a Masters in Business Administration from Pune University, India.

Suchitra Narayan, Director - Venture Building, SGInnovate

Suchi has almost 20 years of experience in product management, business development, new product launches and corporate partnerships across global markets, with a strong focus in Australia and Asia. In her current capacity as Director of Venture Building, Suchi provides business building guidance in areas such as business planning, commercial strategy and scaling growth to new andbuild-from-scratch' Deep Tech startups. Prior to SGInnovate, she was VP, Sales and Service at Gartner where she was providing strategic advisory to APAC leaders on GTM, business development as well as commercial strategy in Asia. An engineer by training, she has a special interest in artificial intelligence, and is passionate about supporting more women in pursuing an education and career in STEM.
