Overview
Health Hack 2025 is a premier health tech hackathon organized by NUS Medicine, aiming to merge healthcare with innovative thinking and cutting-edge technology. Open to participants of all backgrounds, including clinicians, healthcare providers, administrators, and researchers, the event encourages the formation of teams comprising 2 to 5 individuals. Solo registrants can also find teammates during the Opening Day event.
The hackathon focuses on two core themes:
Value-based Healthcare: Emphasizing improved patient outcomes and cost reduction, this theme explores how digital health tools, data analytics, and AI can enhance decision-making, patient monitoring, and cost management.
Silver Generation: Addressing the needs of the aging population, this theme seeks tech solutions that promote healthy aging, optimize care management, and empower the elderly to live independently.
Participants will compete for a share of up to SGD 20,000 in prize rewards, with monetary prizes awarded to the top three teams for each theme. Additionally, implementing InterSystems IRIS Vector Search technology into solutions offers bonus prize money for top-ranking teams across all submissions. Winning teams may also earn a place in a fully funded accelerator program, providing access to subject matter experts, industry partners, testbeds within public healthcare systems, and premier mentorship.
