Overview
This 2-day course helps learners understand why individuals may be challenging to work with, and then helps develop the individual’s awareness of one’s role in the workplace, management style and reward systems. Participants will learn strategies and skills to manage and motivate people at work.
Course Description & Learning Outcomes
Participants will be exposed to experiential exercises, case study discussions and videos throughout this lecture-based course. At the end of this course, you will be able to: - Identify difficult employees and co-workers. - Understand what makes people challenging in the workplace. - Analyse the impact of reward systems, management styles and individual characteristics on the behaviour of such individuals. - Understand the impact of technology on interactions and relationships at work. - Acquire strategies to better manage bosses and co-workers.
Recommended Prerequisites
This course is designed for professionals, team leaders, and mid-level managers in supervisory roles. Participants should have a good level of proficiency in English and with at least 5 years of work experience.
