Dr Daniel Ting is the Associate Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School and Stanford University, senior consultant vitreo-retinal surgeon at the Singapore National Eye Center, Director of Singapore Health Service AI Office, and Associate Editor of npj Digital Medicine. His research focus is related to AI and digital health related applications for eye and retinal diseases that span across machine learning, deep learning, privacy preserving technology such as blockchain technology, federated machine learning and generative adversarial network, conversational AI chatbot using natural language processing.

Prof. Ho and team also manage a portfolio of over 10 prospective, interventional human oncology clinical trials with life-saving outcomes. A serial entrepreneur, he has advised health/human performance teams, nutrition and wearable firms, and venture funds on digital medicine deployment. Prof. Ho is an elected Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors (NAI), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prof. Ho is Co-Chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) Working Group for the regulation of AI for Health.
