Amit Joshi, Professor of AI, Analytics and Marketing Strategy, IMD
Amit Joshi is Professor of AI, Analytics and Marketing Strategy at IMD. He specializes in helping organizations implement AI and scale their analytics capabilities to drive strategic digital transformation. With experience across sectors like banking, fintech, retail, and pharma, he focuses on integrating AI across the enterprise - not just in isolated use cases. He has worked with global companies including UBS, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, and Siam Commerical Bank, and advises startups on digital strategy. At IMD, he directs several executive programs including Business Analytics for Leaders and Digital Business Excellence. His award-winning research has been published in leading journals like Journal of Marketing, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan. A frequent keynote speaker, he led a panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Prior to academia, he worked as a sales manager at Cadbury India.

Michael Wade is the TONOMUS Professor of Strategy and Digital and Director of the TONOMUS Global Center for Digital and AI Transformation at IMD. A leading expert in digital transformation, he has authored 10 books and over 100 articles and case studies on digital strategy, innovation, and leadership. His work focuses on why most digital transformation efforts fail and emphasizes the need to integrate digital tools with broader organizational and cultural change to drive real business value. At IMD, he founded and directs Leading Digital and AI Transformation (LDAIT)—Europe’s largest executive program on digital—and co-directs several others on digital execution, boards, and innovation. His award-winning books include Hacking Digital, ALIEN Thinking, and Digital Vortex, and he contributes regularly to outlets like Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and MIT Sloan. Wade also advises global companies on digital strategy and sits on multiple corporate boards.
