Uzair Javaid, Co-founder and CEO, Betterdata
Uzair Javaid

Uzair Javaid has a Ph.D. in Security and Privacy Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He has been designing data security and privacy techniques for the past six years and was able to reverse engineer the encryption algorithm of Ethereum to ethically hack 670 user wallets. He was previously with Merkle Science designing blockchain wallet taint analysis algorithms and is currently the co-founder and CEO of Betterdata, a company focused on generating programmable synthetic data using Generative AI and Privacy Technologies.

Oliver Tan, Co-Founder and CEO, Visenze Pte Ltd
Oliver Tan

Oliver Tan is Co-Founder and CEO of Visenze Pte Ltd, an AI solutions leader recognized on CB Insights Retail Tech Top 100, Gartner's Hype Cycle - Retail Tech, Digital Commerce, and was AWS Technology Partner of the Year 2020. Prior to Visenze, he led business development at a cyber-security start-up for five years, and served in leading Asian enterprises in corporate and digital transformation roles. A member of the Forbes Technology Council since 2017, he has authored over 40 commentaries on artificial intelligence, tech innovations and digital transformation. Oliver is also member of the Artificial Intelligence Technical Committee (AITC) and serves as board member of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.

Richard Goh, Head of Business Development and CIC, Amazon Web Services
Richard Goh

Richard Goh is the head of business development for Singapore public sector business at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a Generative AI Ambassador of AWS. He also manages the Singapore Cloud Innovation Center for AWS, a global initiative that helps AWS’ public sector customers innovate using Amazon’s Working Backwards mechanism and cloud technologies. Prior to joining AWS, he spent 6 years in SkillsFuture Singapore working on utilizing technology to augment and support the national SkillsFuture movement, encouraging Singaporeans to discover skills and get motivated towards lifelong learning. He started his career as a researcher in AI before spending 15 years in management and tech consulting.

Scott Jones, Deputy Head of Design Factory and Senior Lecturer of Infocomm Technology, Singapore Institute of Technology
Scott Jones

Scott Jones is a Silicon Valley veteran who began his career working for several early Internet startup companies, including Netscape, where he helped build the legendary Netscape Navigator web browser. He has since founded several startups and been involved with numerous high-tech ventures spanning three decades. Additionally, Scott has held teaching & research appointments at Nanyang Polytechnic and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, prior to joining SIT. In addition to his role as Deputy Head of Design Factory, Scott teaches in the Infocomm Technology (ICT) cluster at SIT and serves as Chair of the ICT Outreach Committee.

Paul McClelland

Paul specialises in intellectual property law and commercial dispute resolution. Before joining IPOS International, Paul was sole corporate counsel for a well-known Singaporean brand where he was responsible for a broad range of commercial matters, including worldwide trade mark registrations and oppositions, management of external counsel, contract review, and training. He has also worked in private practice in both Singaporean and Scottish law firms, and has taught commercial law at the University of Glasgow.
