Overview
Hatch, the innovation centre established by the Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX), launched the 5th edition of our Dimension X programme (DX 5) in Oct 2024 and received over 270 applications from start-ups globally. 12 start-ups from 7 countries and a range of tech domains/industry verticals were selected to solve specific challenges identified by HTX and Home Team agencies from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Singapore).
Over the past 4 months, the DX 5 start-ups worked rigorously alongside end-users from HTX and Home Team Departments (challenge owners) to develop proof-of-concept (POC) projects and test/validate their technology in the Home Team's real-life public safety and security operating environment.
Hatch looks forward to presenting the outcomes of these exciting POCs from DX5!

1.Anyformat: Automated data consolidation from multiple formats for data entry and report generation
2.Bays Consulting: Crowd behaviour prediction during disruptive events
3.Castlepoint: Automated classification of data security and sensitivity for files on user machines
4. DagsHub: Multimodal data and AI model curation and management
5.Deeply: Real-time sound monitoring to detect anomalous events
6.Field AI: Autonomous exploration of unstructured environment by quadrupled robot while ensuring robot safety
7.Living Optics: Hyperspectral imaging for forensic survey to detect samples of interest (e.g. blood) in various substrates
8.Prospectral: Stand-off hyperspectral imaging and LiDAR for material detection and distance mapping in 3D space
9.General Robotics: Multi-modal foundation model training for humanoid robot task execution
10.Small Pixels: Real-time video transmission at low bandwidth using AI-powered compression
11.Tiami Network: UAS detection using 5G passive radar
12.Visionary AI: Enhancement of video footages captured in challenge weather conditions
