Dr Gordon Xiong, Vice President, Biomedical Engineering Society (BES)
Dr Gordon Xiong is a biomedical engineer with a research career spanning biomaterials, nanomedicine, drug delivery, and medical devices. He holds a PhD from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Master's degree from the National University of Singapore. His technical research contributions include work on multifunctional polycaprolactone (PCL) surfaces designed to enhance cell adhesion and prevent thrombogenicity in synthetic vascular scaffolds, as well as coating material technologies for drug-eluting balloons (DEBs) used in interventional cardiology to improve drug transfer efficiency. He has also published on nano-encapsulated sirolimus (Nanolimus) delivery to reduce restenosis in peripheral vascular interventions, and on oral insulin delivery systems designed to safely cross the intestinal epithelial barrier. His publication record shows 952 citations on Google Scholar and 873 citations on ResearchGate in these areas.

Dr Michael Ho Chee Keong, Assistant Director, Innovation and Operations , National Health Innovation Centre Singapore (NHIC)
Dr. Michael Ho has over 10 years of experience working with early stage MedTech innovations, guiding many innovations from conceptualization stage through to commercialization. He is actively involved in various evaluation committees and had spearheaded several programs that accelerate HealthTech innovations. Before joining NHIC, Dr. Ho served as a Scientist at A*STAR, where his research concentrated on MedTech innovation. Collaborating closely with clinical partners, he specialized in the development of miniaturized medical devices.
