BeeX reduces costs and risks of offshore underwater inspections using Autonomous Marine Systems (AMS). We are the first in Asia to manufacture our own hoover-capable AUVs and deploy them off Unmanned Surface Vessels, all controlled with our proprietary distributed software from Surface to Underwater. Our vehicles are designed with an Autonomy-First concept. This means unprecedented levels of optimisation and computational power subsea to make decisions real time, enabling superior asset integrity data collection as a seamless workflow, with greatly reduced costs and risks.
Project role: Robotics Field Support for Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (Electrical and Electronics)
The objective of this project is to understand how our fleet of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles are operating in the field, and develop solutions to improve its reliability.
The trainee will be involved in investigating problems, identifying root causes, and deploying solutions across our fleet.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support and Diagnosis: Technical support and troubleshooting of production and operational issues related to equipment, processes, quality, controls, and systems. Identify defects or deviations from quality standards and perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for these issues
- Continuous Improvement: Manage product improvement projects from start to finish, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and reduce defects
- Manufacturing Plan: Coordinate with engineering and production departments to develop and implement Manufacturing Plan for products, by drafting work instructions & test plans, preparing BOMs, communicating to suppliers and training manufacturing personnel.
