BeeX is building the SpaceX / Tesla equivalent of the underwater world. They manufacture Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and pairs them with intelligent software tools. 

These vehicles help protect critical marine infrastructure, including clean energy from Offshore Wind, coastal protection efforts and maritime assets like vessels, ports and aquaculture farms.

Project role: Robotics Field Support for Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (Electrical and Electronics)

This project provides opportunities to combine a passion for operations and engineering, making an impact every day! The objective is to understand how the fleet of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles is operating in the field and develop solutions to improve their reliability. The trainee will be involved in investigating problems, identifying root causes, and deploying solutions across the fleet.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support and Diagnosis: Provide technical support and troubleshoot production and operational issues related to equipment, processes, quality, controls, and systems. Identify defects or deviations from quality standards and perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons for these issues.
2. Continuous Improvement: Manage product improvement projects from start to finish, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and reduce defects.
3. Manufacturing Plan: Coordinate with engineering and production departments to develop and implement a Manufacturing Plan for products, including drafting work instructions and test plans, preparing BOMs, communicating with suppliers, and training manufacturing personnel.
