SunGreenH2 is an award-winning, venture-backed company developing proprietary nanostructured electrodes for all commercial electrolysers to unlock affordable green hydrogen globally. The company has a vision for zero-carbon, low-cost, green hydrogen available globally at scale.

To achieve this vision, SunGreenH2 is expanding its fast-growing team and is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team in Singapore. The responsibilities will include overseeing the fabrication and assembly of hydrogen electrolysers, optimising manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality control throughout production.

Project role: Scale Up and Production of Electrolyser Systems - Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure production targets are met on time, exceeding quality and specification requirements, while implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
2. Oversee manufacturing operations in South East Asia, coordinating vendors, and adjusting workflows to ensure smooth product delivery and optimal performance.
Work closely with Quality Assurance to resolve any quality issues and ensure products meet standards.
3. Provide regular updates on production progress, timelines, and risks, while proactively communicating any delays or issues to management.
4. Manage relationships with CMOs, ensuring smooth communication, overseeing line validation, and resolving any issues.
5. Collaborate with procurement to source raw materials cost-effectively and adjust strategies based on market trends.
6. Forecast inventory needs, maintain accurate production records, and report on output and efficiency to management.
7. Ensure effective machine maintenance, monitor downtime, and optimise performance to meet production needs.
8. Drive continuous improvement programs to enhance productivity, control costs, and maintain quality across operations.

Preferred Skills: 
1. Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. 
2. Experience in Design for Manufacturing.
3. Experience in Project Management.
