Epiphyte is looking for a highly motivated Junior Unity Developer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Augmented Reality (AR) and game development using Unity, with a solid understanding of C# programming. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge AR applications for mobile platforms. Candidates should be enthusiastic about learning and improving, with a keen eye for performance optimization and innovation in AR technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop AR applications using Unity3D and C# for mobile platforms (iOS/Android).

2. Collaborate with designers and other developers to create engaging AR experiences.

3. Optimize AR applications for performance and scalability.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and performance.

5. Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure seamless user experiences in AR.

6. Stay up to date with AR/VR trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas to the project.

7. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

 

Requirements:

1. 1 - 3 years of experience in Unity3D development and C# programming.

2. Strong understanding of AR frameworks such as ARCore and ARKit.

3. Experience developing and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android.

4. Familiarity with 3D graphics programming, shaders, and animations.

5. Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

6. Basic understanding of multiplayer networking and backend integration.

7. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for AR technology.

9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with cloud services and APIs.

2. Experience working with Unreal Engine or other game engines is a plus.

3. Familiarity with mobile app UI/UX design principles.
