Project Role: Data Analytics Engineer

The Data Analytics Engineer is a product development position that collaborates closely across company functions to achieve Mesh Bio’s business objectives.

The Trainee will work closely with other developers and commercial staff to translate business objectives, product development strategies, customer requirements into the Mesh Bio’s products and services.

Scope:

• Work with databases containing healthcare data
• Structure, normalise, extract, transform, analyse, aggregate and visualise the data
• Implement data analysis and visualisation methods optimal for specific research and product development targets
• Profile and optimise database performance
• Implement and run machine learning algorithms
• Obtain, prepare and deploy datasets for machine learning
• As part of the Research and Development team, carry out statistical analysis, build and manage databases and their interfaces to carry out research activity in the field of human health
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to build scalable database architectures and interfaces to satisfy Product Requirements Specifications
• Prototype data analysis pipelines
• Prototype data storage and analysis architectures
• Develop production code while maintaining highest standards and practices of software development
• Implement and maintain systems and software architecture for data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualisation under ISO data security, medical device and HIPAA design controls
• Ensure that development is performed with clean, well-commented, and well-tested code that follows data governance policies
• Implement security methods for user and device authentication and authorisation, as well as robust encryption and other security mechanisms
• Provide development and production status updates to project leaders
