Nika.eco is a climate tech firm dedicated to expediting nature-positive outcomes by conducting carbon feasibility studies four times faster than the industry average. Enhance your confidence in carbon investments with accurate data delivered swiftly and effortlessly. Nika.eco has developed CarbonGPT (ChatGPT for Carbon Knowledge) and PlanetGPT (GPT-powered ArcGIS/QGIS in-browser). The project will provide the trainee an opportunity to engage in geospatial data analysis using vector and raster datasets in Python, as well as learn how to generate high-quality datasets for ML models.

Project Role: Geospatial Machine Learning Analyst
The Trainee's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

1. Labelling high-quality spatial datasets for effective Machine Learning.
2. Improving model performances iteratively via different model metrics such as f1 and AOC.
3. Producing carbon model for nature/forest-based projects.
4. Automating the model pipeline using company's internal tools.
5. Conducting research on industry best practice models such as LLM to further elevate model performance.
