Project role: Computer Vision Engineer (AI & IoT)

The goal is to refine its design, optimise the manufacturing process, and collaborate with Dimuto's technical team to deploy AI for real-time image analysis at customer sites.
The Trainee will be responsible for:

• Device Design and Manufacturing: Collaborate on refining the design of DACKY for improved functionality and user experience. Optimise the deployment process to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• AI Integration and Computer Vision: Work closely with the technical team to deploy AI algorithms for real-time image analysis on DACKY devices. Implement computer vision technologies to enhance data extraction and processing capabilities.
• Multi-Purpose Adaptation: Assess customer requirements and operational demands to make DACKY more versatile and adaptable. Integrate just-in-time printing capabilities and other features to meet evolving needs.
• Quality AI Integration and Scalability: Collaborate on integrating product Quality AI into DACKY devices. Develop strategies to make the Quality AI scalable for broader industry applications.

The Trainee will be required to:

• Work with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, detail design and deploy Digitisation Solutions (Software & Hardware) for customers.
• Integrate vision devices (cameras, 2D scanners) and industrial weighing solutions to windows-based devices.
• Conduct prototyping and software integrations of RFID readers to ensure compatibility with our digital platform.
• Come up with BOMs, user manuals, test plans, deployment plans.
• Oversee the inventory management of parts at the headquarters and ensure seamless tracking of inventory at remote offices.
