Mobbin’s mission is to empower the world to design great digital experiences. Mobbin prides itself as the Pinterest for UI & UX design. They are building a comprehensive, expert-curated library of interfaces from the best-in-class digital products that help product designers find relevant design inspiration and references with significantly less time and effort. Today, Mobbin is used by most design-forward companies and startups, including Duolingo, Revolut, Headspace, Work & Co, Blinkist, and more.

Project role: Software Engineer, New Platforms

The Trainee will work closely with Mobbin’s Machine Learning Engineers, UX Analysts and Software Engineers to drive key product decisions while balancing engineering and business needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Working on internal web-based ML tools. Think: Next.js app router, Supabase, TLDraw, etc.
   Trainees may have to read source code of these open-source projects to work around their issues.
2. Leveraging on readily available APIs (for example: OpenAI, AWS AI, etc) to speed up our ML lifecycle.
3. Writing algorithms to prioritise high-impact data for labelling.
4. Design and implement high-quality and reliable features that are scalable.
