Their cloud experience includes web applications, content delivery, WAF, encryption, logs, analytics, containers, serverless architecture, deep learning, storage and archival, etc. In addition, they have their own Intellectual Property and tools (eg. WebOrion security suite) to complement existing public cloud tools to help customers strengthen their cloud security.

Project role: Technical Product Manager (Cloud Security)

This project will involve creating a technical roadmap and prototype to provide next-generation platform for securing data and web application assets in public clouds such as AWS, Azure, Google, etc.

Research is required into key technical features and customer pain points. There will be an emphasis on security posture management and real-time detection and response in the cloud environments.

The use cases can be to detect ransomware in the cloud, provide a data map and lineage, come with security rules/alerts for exfiltration of data, compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO27001, etc.

The Trainee's responsibilities:

1. Research into the problems and pain points of data and web applications in the cloud. Eg. many data breaches happened due to misconfiguration in the cloud
2. Deriving a technical product strategy and roadmap
3. Creating the technical prototype
4. Conducting technical proof-of-concepts with various early adopter customers
