Project role: Machine Learning Engineer (Geospatial AI)

The Trainee will play a vital role in developing and optimising cutting-edge AI models for point cloud segmentation and 3D asset creation. They will collaborate with AlteredVerse data engineers, 3D artists, and software engineers to create scalable and efficient solutions for segmenting and converting geospatial point clouds into realistic 3D models.

Key responsibilities of the trainee include:

• research, design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and architectures for point cloud segmentation.
• train and fine-tune AI models using large-scale point cloud datasets, ensuring high accuracy and generalisation.
• conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and iterate on model designs to achieve optimal results.

An understanding of computer vision concepts and machine learning is needed.
