Fabrica.ai specialises in developing automatic tile grouting robots, which are currently being piloted on construction sites in Singapore under the management of Woh Hup, BHCC, and Gin Chia. Their success extends beyond Singapore, as they have already gained early traction in the United States and Europe.
Project role: Autonomous Tile Grouting Robots for Boosting Construction Productivity
The traineeship offers an exciting opportunity to take robots from initial designs to real-world industry trials. Remuneration for Trainees may combine salary and share options.
Various tracks are available, and trainees will have the chance to work on a couple of them, tailored to their preferences:
- Mechanical experiments and design.
- Mechanical manufacturing, assembly, and testing, encompassing 3D printing, angle grinding, drilling, assembly, and testing.
- Electrical experiments and design.
- Electrical assembly, involving soldering Printed Circuit Boards, power cables, and crimping cables.
- Arduino programming.
- Robotics DevOps & Real World Industry Trials, which includes operating the ROS2 stack, establishing reproducible testing methodologies, overseeing robots on-site, and exploring innovative parts/materials for enhancements.
