As the first step, we are building and improving on a scalable data system in the cloud that integrates into our current experimental data management system and allows streamlining data storage and analysis. Next, this data system will be used to analyse and build workflows for data processing and to perform predictions.

In this project, the intern will work on building and improving Allozymes cloud-based system to streamline, store and run pipelines to process big genomic data and build tools to analyse, visualise and make predictions with data. The intern will be trained to implement a cloud system and automate data flows, store, process, and analyse genomics and experimental data. This project will require collaboration with the scientists and engineers in the company to achieve the proposed goals. The outcome of the project will enhance the performance of the Allozymes proprietary platform for engineering enzymes and microorganisms.
