SpeQtral is looking for highly motivated individuals to join a team of space quantum pioneers at the office in Singapore. They are commercialising quantum communications to prepare the world for the quantum future. Think quantum space lasers, entanglement and military level secure communications. As part of our mission to transform the world’s networks they plan to launch a constellation of satellites to enable worldwide entanglement distribution. The earliest application is the highly secure delivery of encryption keys to facilitate secret communications, using our upcoming pathfinder satellite and an optical ground station (OGS) currently under development in Singapore.

This project is about supporting the R&D of their OGS for space-based QKD at SpeQtral, paving the way for new technologies to enable global quantum communications. This covers various software development tasks for operating the OGS hardware, planning and scheduling OGS operations by developing automated software tools, and configuring and optimising a web-based GUI for controlling the OGS. Detailed tasks could be defined based on the interests and capabilities of the talent.
