Description

Microtube Technologies develops smart wearables by sewing patented microfiber sensors into fabrics. The patented soft microfiber sensor is extremely thin and stretchable. It can be woven easily into fabrics to measure minute changes in strain, forces and pressure. Smart wearables are developed for multiple applications, such as gaming, healthcare training, IoT, and robotic control.

This project focuses on creating a novel wearable and corresponding mobile app for automated strength-training analysis for static workouts. The company seeks to overcome ambiguity in strength and endurance workouts with objective quantification of muscle efforts. They seek to create motivational content through gamification and in-depth fitness profiling of the user.

The talent will work with cross-functional teams (data science, software development and engineering) in data collection, processing, presentation and analysis of data from the wearables. The talent will employ different statistical methods for accurate fitness profiling and prediction modelling.
