Echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart) is the first test of choice for Cardiologists. Compared to other imaging methods - it is less expensive, more mobile, non-invasive and radiation-free. However, the image quality is lower than other techniques like MRIs and CT scans.

US2.ai is trying to bridge the gap by developing software to bring AI-enhanced imaging resources to everyone. The project consists of developing AI tools to democratise echo, the most commonly used tool for detection of heart risk.
