AeroLion is a Singapore-based high-tech startup that solves modern industrial problems using UAVs. Founded by PhD students and research scientists from the National University of Singapore, its in-house developed BlackLion series UAV products have unique GPS-less navigation and AI-based image analytics capabilities. They are used in applications including mapping and survey, building inspection, confined space inspection and warehouse stock taking. AeroLion’s products and solutions have served various Singapore government agencies, local corporations and MNCs.
Project: Automated warehouse stock counting using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and AI-based data processing
Automated tunnel and pipeline inspection using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and AI-based data processing. Functioning prototypes have been developed and used locally as an inspection service tool for Singapore’s MRT tunnel, deep tunnel sewerage system (DTSS) and large-size drainage tunnels. We are pushing it forward to a few mature product variants and to also cover the general wastewater sewer (with smaller size) inspection problem and overseas market.
Project: Automated tunnel and pipeline inspection using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and AI-based data processing (Computer Vision in Robotics)
Automated warehouse stock counting using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and AI-based data processing. Existing UAV product developed and been used in warehouses in Singapore, Malaysia and China. Working on scaling up the business and value-add features to the product.
Project: Automated tunnel and pipeline inspection using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and AI-based data processing (UI/UX in Robotics)
We are looking for UI/UX engineers to join us and develop data post-processing software for our clients. Specifically, s/he will be part of the larger team of drone-based tunnel inspection projects. The initial focus would be on continuing to improve the current inspection viewer which can manage, visualize and process the collected drone images for further analysis such as defects detection. The trainee will also work with other UI/UX engineers for general maintenance of drone’s ground control station software in the later phase of traineeship.
