Overview

Note: Due to limited capacity for this session, all registrations are subject to final approval. Please look out for a confirmation of registration which will be sent directly to your email. (Only participants who have received this confirmation will be able to attend this Tech Talk).

By registering for this session, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by the organising partners, including SGInnovate, dConstruct Robotics and IMDA, for the purposes of event administration, communication, and related follow-up activities.

Please note that this session runs on open discussion. All participants will work through their own operational challenges with the speakers and with each other, so the value you get depends on what you are willing to put in. If you are not comfortable discussing your organisation's challenges openly, this workshop will not be a good fit.

Join us for this Tech Talk for Leaders, a part of SGInnovate's Let's Tech It series—an exciting session where innovation meets practical application.

Co-organised with dConstruct Robotics and IMDA, this is a hands-on design thinking session focused on helping participants refine operational problem statements and translate them into practical, AMR-driven solutions. Discover how robotics and automation are transforming businesses and industries, while gaining a structured approach to identifying high-impact use cases for AMR adoption.

Course Description & Learning Outcomes

This session will feature:

  • Interactive Design Thinking Workshop: Collaborate with facilitators and peers to apply design thinking methodologies and develop practical, user-centric automation concepts.

  • Implementation Support: Gain insights into available resources to help plan and accelerate successful AMR adoption.

During the workshop, we will cover these topics:

  • Defining AMR Problem Statements

Learn how to identify and refine operational challenges into clearly defined, actionable project opportunities that are well-suited for Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions.

  • Design Thinking Session

Apply structured design thinking methodologies to generate, evaluate, and refine ideas into practical, user-centric robotic solutions for real-world operational needs.

  • Technology Discovery

Explore the latest AMR technologies, key industry use cases, and emerging automation trends to better understand how robotics is transforming business operations.

  • Resources and Support

Discover available support resources, including IMDA co-funding opportunities, and gain insights into the AMR Playbook to help guide successful implementation and adoption.
