SG Eco Loop Showcase - 40 Sustainability Prototypes by Youth Innovators

Singapore generated approximately 1,700,000 tonnes of plastic and food waste in 2025, and recycled only ~10% of this. Over six weeks, 130+ students across 40 teams have been working on ways to change these numbers, one prototype at a time, alongside industry mentors and partners challenging them to build real solutions for real problems. They will be competing for a chance to win the top prizes for Biggest Impact and Best Innovation.

Teams have spent weeks turning ideas into working prototypes and mapping out how each one could scale beyond the programme. A few flavours of what you'll find on the floor: black soldier flies turning food scraps into value, upcycled materials reborn as everyday products, tools that map where waste really goes, campaigns designed to make sorting habits stick, and tech ranging from AI to augmented reality.
