Overview
From 9 to 12 April, Science Centre Singapore will host RoboFest 2026, Singapore’s first festival dedicated to robotics and AI, designed to help the public experience robotics up close while confronting a clear provocation: as machines advance, what does it mean to be fully human?
Four Unique Experiential Zones at RoboFest 2026
RoboFest will feature four experiential zones, each designed to move visitors from “wow” to understanding, and from possibility to reflection about the role they play in the AI space.
The Playground
When machines perform, what do we feel, and why?
Experience live robot boxing, fire-fighting dog demonstrations, and the exclusive comedy show, My Colleague is a Robot Dog*, exploring human-robot dynamics. Build your own bots, master AI prompt-crafting in a multi-player challenge, and test your skills at detecting AI-generated media.
Robotics in Real Life
What is truly useful, safe and responsible in everyday settings?
Explore innovations from industry partners and tertiary institutions, like the National University of Singapore’s bio-inspired soft robotics and assistive concepts relevant to ageing and care, and Robi Butler, a remote multimodal household robot assistant experience. Stellaris Robotics Pte Ltd will feature highlights including a portable companion robot and an open source robot designed for AI education for students among others!
Learning Hub
If AI becomes common, what should every Singaporean know how to do?
Experience hands-on robotics and AI programming through school-friendly workshops, industry talks, and a new dedicated exhibition space. Highlights include the Singapore debut of the LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI Kit, interactive sessions with Ameca, drone coding, and robot stability challenges.
RoboCup Arena
What happens when human teamwork meets machine capability?
RoboFest will host the 18th edition of RoboCup Singapore, with teams competing from 11 Apr to the Finals on 12 Apr. The competition also serves as the national selection platform for teams representing Singapore at RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2026 and the RoboCup World Championship 2026.
