ABSTRACT
As Singapore accelerates its digital transformation and adoption of 5G-enabled systems, the convergence between telecommunications networks and Operational Technology (OT) environments is creating unprecedented opportunities — and equally unprecedented risks. Drawing from hands-on experience building a 5G testbed in collaboration with Nokia, SUTD and DIS, this session by Matthias Yeo provides a practitioner’s perspective on emerging 5G and OT threat landscapes.

Matthias Yeo | Matthias is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CyberXCenter, a Cyber security firm in Singapore. The company focuses on Cyber security capability building within Industrial Control System (ICS) with services such as training, cyber exercises and cyber research. He has the experience in identifying and investing into technology companies, bringing them to multi-million valuation. These companies include blockchain companies, Medtech and emerging technologies. He also double-hat as the Chief Operating Officer of Momentum Z, a CSA Cyber Essentials' industry partner that helps to safeguard organization against the evolution of cyber threats.
