Overview
Deep-tech founders often explain how their technology works without clearly showing why the company can win or why investors should act.
In this live session, Ali-Asghar, Founder of Story Knight, will review and rewrite the pitch deck of a hydrogen-fuelled mobility company.
The focus will be on strengthening the investor narrative (not visual design) by connecting the tech, commercial model and funding ask into a clear investment case.
Participants will learn how to:
Translate complex technology into a clear investor proposition.
Turn a product explanation into a persuasive fundraising story.
Structure a deck so each section builds investor conviction.
Connect technical differentiation to commercial value.
Make the opportunity easier to understand, remember and repeat.
This live online session will feature a real-time review of a founder pitch deck from a hydrogen-fuelled mobility company. Ali-Asghar, Founder of Story Knight, will work through the deck section by section, identify where the investment case loses clarity or momentum, and demonstrate how the narrative could be strengthened.
The session is intended for deep-tech founders preparing to raise capital, as well as investors and ecosystem partners interested in how complex technologies are communicated. Attendees will be able to ask questions during the session, with time reserved for Q&A at the end.

Speaker's Profile:
Ali-Asghar, Founder, Story Knight
Ali-Asghar combines strategy with storytelling to help founders craft narratives that investors remember and repeat. A career in investment banking, consulting and corporate strategy demonstrated how dense decks delayed decisions. As a Telly-award winning writer whose work has appeared on TV, stage and in print for The New York Times and The Sydney Morning Herald, he knew there was a better way to communicate complexity. That insight led him to found Story Knight, a firm that crafts compelling investor narratives for fundraising startups. Ali-Asghar's work has gone viral, sparked trending topics and generated coverage from the BBC, Al Jazeera and The Guardian. He also created 'America First?' a New York theatre show that explored overseas solutions to America's economic problems. Having lived in the U.S., UK, Spain, UAE and China, he brings a global perspective to every engagement. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MBA from UChicago.
