Akihiro (Aki) Maeda has spent over 20 years in Teijin, currently heading the scouting of medical devices for home-use in business development & license department, and leading strategic open innovation activities such as their own accelerator program, corporate venture arm, and strategic alliances with external partners. Prior to this role, Aki was a resident for business development working at California office, US in Teijin for 5 years to seek for licensing-in opportunities with North American (USA & Canada) companies.

Ms Aileen Lai

A global executive with consistent proven track records, Aileen Lai spent most part of her career in Healthcare and Life Science in bring technology and innovation towards improving care. Her vast experience across HIS, EMR, CMS, EHR, PHR and BI/DW built up extensive domain knowledge and deep understanding of challenges in healthcare industry. During her previous portfolio as COO of iHealth Labs, she built a remote patient monitoring platform. HealthBeats® is founded post management buy-out of the platform. Aileen also holds the position of Vice-Chair, Digital Health, Start-ups & SMEs Committee of Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed).

Dr. Ling Zheng Jye, Chief Medical Informatics Officer, National University Hospital, National University Hospital
Dr. Ling Zheng Jye

Dr Ling is a health informatician working in public sector healthcare. He is the Chief Medical Informatics Officer of National University Hospital. His interests are in Healthcare Management, Clinical Decision Support, Design Thinking, and Public Health. He is a physician in the Intermediate & Long Term Care sector, serving in nursing homes and primary care clinics. He is also involved with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for medical informatics. Dr Ling enjoys helping his colleagues happily deliver care more effectively via adjusting products to fit local workflows.
