Overview

Singapore is putting smart into logistics.

The country aims to harness a suite of new and developing technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, to enable supply chain innovation and efficient logistics networks. Our event is designed to bring together corporates and entrepreneurs, investors and researchers, and government representatives to connect and discuss the impact of technology in the transformation of the logistics sector.

Speakers' and Moderator's Profiles:

Jens Drewes, President South Asia Pacific, Kuehne + Nagel

As President of Kuehne + Nagel South Asia Pacific, Jens Drewes drives the vision and strategy for the 17 countries under his remit. His career with Kuehne + Nagel started in 1997 when he joined the project logistics team in Japan. Since then, he has held various leadership and executive management positions within the company across Asia-Pacific.

In 2016, Jens Drewes was appointed President for the South Asia Pacific region. Prior to this role, Jens Drewes was President of North Asia Pacific for Kuehne + Nagel where he was responsible for operations in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

He also served as Managing Director, Central & North China for Kuehne + Nagel from 2008 to 2013. With more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry across Asia-Pacific, his areas of expertise include service delivery excellence, digital transformation, management and global delivery of engagements.

Nidhi Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Portcast

Nidhi Gupta is an experienced strategy and logistics professional. She has a decade of leadership and C-level consulting experience in Asia-Pacific with the Deutsche Post DHL group.

She has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering.

Nidhi is passionate about digitisation and innovation in the supply chain and logistics industry. She is currently the co-founder of Portcast, a logistics technology start-up in Singapore which uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide predictive analytics for logistics companies.

Marc Dragon, Managing Director, ReefKNoT Ventures

Marc is currently heading up Reefknot Investments, a Joint Venture Fund between Kuehne + Nagel & Temasek, focused on high growth technology firms transforming the Supply Chain and Logistics landscape.

Marc has been involved in international business in Asia throughout his 20+yr career. He has started and established new business entities in Singapore, China, India, New Zealand, and has managed businesses across Asia Pacific. He is especially active in the Supply Chain and Technology start-up space in ASEAN and China, and has been an Advisor in several growth companies and Venture Funds across the region.

Raghvendra Singh, Managing Director, Accenture ASEAN

Raghvendra is the Managing Director for Management Consulting and Freight & Logistics industry lead at Accenture ASEAN. He advises businesses on Enterprise Transformation and CFO priorities such as SG&A Optimization, Org redesign, Digital Operations and Performance analytics areas.

Prior to Accenture, he has led consulting and outsourcing businesses of two of the fortune 200 companies within the APAC region where he executed multiple operating model designs, process re-engineering and automation in Customer Service, Finance, Procurement and HR transformation initiatives for his clients. In recent engagements, he had helped his clients build the strategy and implementation for Robotic Processes Automation, Blockchain and AI within their enterprise functions.

He holds a joint MBA from London Business School and Columbia University, and is an avid learner in emerging topics and research.
