Tim Davies, Co-founder / Program Manager, Waitrr / European Innovation Academy
Tim Davies

Tim pursued an MBA at Babson college and was a previous brand manager at Unilever, in Australia. He also worked for ANZ, as an analyst, in digital marketing and operational risk. He is a co-founder and COO of Waitrr a mobile ordering and payments platform. He is also a Program Development Manager for EIA in Singapore and a force behind launching an AI-focused entrepreneurial program in Singapore this July.

Alar Kolk, President / Founder, European Innovation Academy
Alar Kolk

Alar Kolk has held a variety of roles in the public and private sectors since 1999. In that year, they were an Executive Officer at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications for Estonia. Alar then went on to become the Vice President and CEO of Enterprise Estonia in 2000. In 2002, they became a Senior Lecturer and Vice-Rector of Innovation and Internationalisation at the Tallinn University of Technology. In 2006, they were a Senior Adviser of Secretary General at the Ministry of Finance, and they were also a Member of the Supervisory Board for AS Andmevara and Estonian Pilot Ltd. in the same year. In 2009, they became a Member of the Supervisory Board for the Tiger Leap Foundation. From 2011 to 2017, they were the President of the European Innovation Academy. In 2017, they began working at Stanford University as a Research and Autonomous Innovation specialist with H-STAR. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became the CEO of EpiProdux.

Swee Kiat Lim, Co-founder, Pebblely
Swee Kiat Lim

Swee Kiat (SK) Lim is a co-founder and CEO of Pebblely, a company that applies generative AI to product and fashion photography. Pebblely was founded in January 2023 and has over 1 million users as of September 2023. Prior to Pebblely, SK was working as a privacy engineer in the Google Payments team. His work in Google include kickstarting the Google Wallet project, reviewing privacy aspects of the Google Pay application, as well as helping with internal work related to differential privacy. SK studied MSc. Computer Science at Stanford University, specializing in artificial intelligence. He is primarily interested in translating AI research to real-world solutions, having deployed AI applications in various early-stage startups.
