Overview
Ever dreamed of building a robot companion, or something completely out of this world? Now's your chance to get those ideas out of your head and onto the page.
Join Hazel Kwon, Design Lead at dConstruct Robotics, for a hands-on workshop exploring how Generative AI can supercharge robot design ideation.
It all starts with one big question: What problem will your robot solve? From there, the sky's the limit - practical, playful, futuristic, or all three.
Course Description & Learning Outcomes
Who should join? Designers, makers, students, and anyone curious about robotics, AI, and creative innovation are welcome. No prior experience is required.
What to bring
Please bring along your laptop or tablet. Additionally, an Apple Pencil or stylus if you have one, and you're ready to start designing.

Trainer's Profile:
Hazel Kwon , Design Lead, dConstruct Robotics
Hazel Kwon is the Design Lead at dConstruct Robotics, where she bridges technology, usability, and real-world application through design. She led the design of d.ASH-ER, dConstruct Robotic’s multipurpose robot, which debuted at COMPUTEX 2024 and was unveiled on stage by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. Today, d.ASH-ER is deployed across real-world use cases including autonomous security patrols, smart logistics, and trolley towing in public environments. With a background in visual communication and experience design, Hazel designs robots to be functional and intuitive, helping them coexist among humans. Through this workshop, she aims to inspire participants to blend creativity and design thinking, assisted by AI, to imagine the next generation of robots.
