Overview

It's competition day for the Cellular Agriculture Talent Development Programme 2025! Spearheaded by APAC-SCA (Student Chapter) and supported by strategic partners: Good Food Institute APAC, A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, & SGInnovate, this unique initiative is designed to nurture the next generation of talents in cellular agriculture. Since May 2025, four experienced professionals and leaders in the cellular agriculture field has served as mentors for seven mentees across the higher learning institutes of Singapore, bringing a wealth of knowledge to guide and inspire them throughout the programme as they work independently on their project related to cellular agriculture. On competition day, the mentees will present their research findings in a poster format to a panel of judges, alongside participants who will decide on their favourite poster. 2 winners will emerge - selected by Panel of Judges and by Popular Vote will each be gifted a ticket to the Global Science Symposium at this year’s Singapore International Agri-food Week. We hope that this will ensure continuity among the young talents as they engage and network with researchers, industry players, and experts within the cellular agriculture industry.

The event will also include a panel discussion where insights from leading experts from the industry and academia will be shared to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange to promote the nascent field.  Participants also have rich networking opportunities, including a casual evening reception with food and drinks.

The event is free and open to all interested in the field of cellular agriculture - including industry players, academia, and students. Join us on 13 August 2025, 6PM (SGT) at 32 Carpenter Street, SGInnovate. Due to limited slots available, we greatly appreciate your attendance upon registration.
