A one-day training combining semiconductor industry fundamentals with hands-on sessions on agentic AI and dataspaces, hosted at Infineon Singapore as part of the German federally funded Semiconductor-X project. Designed for senior engineers, R&D managers, and technical leads in the semiconductor industry. Free of charge, lunch provided. Limited to 40 seats.
Course Description & Learning Outcomes
How will agentic AI and dataspaces reshape semiconductor supply chains? This one-day training brings together European and Singaporean semiconductor expertise in a hands-on format at Infineon Singapore.
The morning session covers the semiconductor domain: industry fundamentals, global supply chain dynamics, manufacturing essentials from front-end to packaging, and a deep dive into Operating Curve Management in semiconductor fabs. Including games for intuitive understanding.
The afternoon shifts to agentic AI for semiconductor operations and supply chains, including a case study on agentic decision-making under disruption, dataspaces and data sovereignty in the semiconductor industry, and a hands-on applied scenario exercise.
The training closes with a session connecting the dots between AI, dataspaces, and semiconductor supply chain resilience, followed by a discussion and assessment exercise. Participants who complete the training and assessment receive a certificate of participation that will be piloted as a microcredential designed for cross-border recognition in Europe and Asia.
This training is organized by OPAIX as part of the Semiconductor-X project, a German federally funded research initiative on semiconductor supply chains. It is shared with members of the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA).
