We serve as a strategic bridge that matches high-potential individuals with Deep Tech founders, focusing on the successful immersion of talent through strategic placements and industry integration to strengthen the technical talent pipeline for mission-led startups. We are dedicated to understanding the specific technical requirements of our founders and ensuring every connection strengthens the talent pipeline for Singapore’s most innovative ventures.
Role:
In this role, you will drive SGInnovate’s Human Health and Potential (HHP) Talent Programme with the aim of building the talent pipeline in the HHP space. You will facilitate the seamless transition of technical talent into the industry, managing the end-to-end journey to ensure participants are successfully integrated into pivotal roles within our partner startups. By working closely with founders to align talent capabilities with their specific venture needs, you will drive the successful closing of programme placements and strengthen the biomedical ecosystem. This is a results-oriented opportunity to lead high-impact talent immersion and deliver tangible human capital growth to the front lines of innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end programme operations by supporting the design, implementation, and review phases to ensure seamless execution and high participant engagement throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including startup founders, career offices, and government agencies and facilitate smooth communication and ensure all partners remain aligned with delivery goals.
- Support the candidate management process by executing outreach activities, conducting initial suitability screenings, and coordinating interview logistics, offering documentation to maintain a positive candidate experience.
- Analyse and synthesise programme data by evaluating participant feedback and performance metrics to propose actionable improvements and data-driven refinements for future programme cycles.
- Execute marketing and communication tasks by developing content for digital platforms, social media, and newsletters, while assisting in the production of collateral and visuals to boost programme visibility.
- Maintain operational and administrative excellence by managing session logistics, scheduling, and vendor invoicing, ensuring all attendance and completion records are accurate and up to date.
- Track and report on key performance indicators and participant feedback to assist the team in identifying trends and areas for continuous programme refinement.
- Represent the organisation at outreach events such as career fairs and networking sessions to promote talent initiatives and engage with prospective applicants directly.
- Contribute cross-functionally to new pilot initiatives by providing operational support and sharing best practices to help establish workflows for emerging talent workstreams.
- Drive process optimisation by identifying operational bottlenecks and developing standardised workflows or templates that enhance team efficiency and ensure a consistent participant experience across different initiatives.
You may be a good fit if you possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Translational Sciences, or a related field, with 2 years of relevant experience in the Biotech, Medtech or wider Health Biomedical Sciences (HBMS) ecosystem.
- A strong passion for the startup landscape; prior exposure to venture capital, funding agencies, or technology transfer offices is highly advantageous.
- A highly organised approach with a meticulous eye for detail, along with the ability to manage programme timelines and prioritise deliverables in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build relationships with stakeholders across different levels, and a real team player.
- “Can-do” spirit and proactiveness to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
