Role:
As a Member of the Investment team, you will have the exciting opportunity to unlock and elevate value of spin-offs of research universities and research centres and startups of the SGInnovate portfolio. The incumbent will work closely with investee startups to gain access to partners, experts and corporates, improve business outcomes and attractiveness for follow-on funding to set on track towards grow. Through deal flow sourcing of early-stage start-ups championing novel disruptive technologies, the incumbent gains breadth and depth of different industry sectors including the burgeoning new space economy.

Responsibilities:
- Deal flow sourcing for investible early-stage start-ups; develop investment thesis to support potential investments.
- Support startup development needs e.g., collaborations, sales, tech/product development, product-market fit and go-to-market strategies to increase adoption of new solutions.
- Account manage portfolio investees – attend board/investor meetings, manage portfolio reporting
You may be a good fit if you (are):
- Technology oriented, keen to dive-in to learn ever evolving topics like energy, material, software, etc. for translating into solutions as products and/or services through a company
- Possess financial and business acumen to evaluate startups potential
- Passionate about working with early-stage startup founders in finding/navigating path to success
- Analytical and able to clearly articulate (written/spoken) on complex subject matter
- Sensitive to timely deliver results on projects and tasks, to concurrently maximize and expand your knowledge & skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Science/ Technology/ Engineering/ Mathematics/ Finance/ Business
- Project management, analyst for financial institutions.
- Venture/Corporate Venture capital investment experience would be advantageous
- Contractual review for governing working relationships between entities.
- Track record to manage diverse, unrelated projects/relationships concurrently.
