Thomas Jeng

Thomas Jeng is General Manager, Singapore at Aspire, where he leads the sales and partnerships teams driving the firm’s expansion. Thomas focuses on commercial strategy, organizational design, as well as overseeing operational execution. Prior to joining Aspire, he held a variety of roles in the startup and venture capital space, including: - Leading go-to-market and customer success as VP, Head of Commercial at Gnowbe, an early-stage EdTech company - Leading expansion in Asia, Europe, and Africa as Head of Global Business Development at 500 Startups (now 500 Global), a worldwide venture capital firm and startup ecosystem builder - Building Junction, a platform for digital innovation talent, as Co-Founder and CEO

Julian Foo, General Manager, Financial Services, ShopBack
Julian Foo

Julian is the General Manager of ShopBack heading up Financial Services. He founded the Instore business in 2018 and launched Singapore’s first wallet-linked offers program with DBS PayLah! in 2020. He then went on to launch the Payments business for both Online and Instore partners. Prior to that, he was in the legal profession and advised on emerging enterprises and start-ups on their capital raises and corporate transactions with respect to growth capital and private equity across the full range of M&A activities globally.

Jeremy Au

Jeremy was previously CEO and Co-Founder of CozyKin, a VC-backed edtech start-up, which was acquired by Higher Ground Education and scaled across multiple cities in North America. He has been recognized with Forbes “30 Under 30” and Prestige “40 Under 40.” He now hosts a regular series of podcast called BRAVE Southeast Asia Tech Podcast, sharing on various topics about Southeast Asia's startup & venture capital scenes.

Ong Leyu

Leyu heads the TMT team within Capital Markets, and is active in reaching out to the start-up ecosystem to help innovative growth companies in their fundraising plans. This is her second time back with SGX, having previously covered the Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar to work with regional businesses interested to list in Singapore, before she left in 2015 to join Capbridge, a fintech startup that leverages on technology to match professional institutional investors to growth companies seeking funding, and regulated by MAS. She then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Singapore Venture Hub, a one-of-its-kind initiative to create a one-stop shop for investors and startup founders. She rejoined SGX in late 2018.
