She is an active technology mentor to several startups, women’s organizations and causes for the differently abled.
Vijay Sirse, Founder, Chairman & CEO, Red Dot Power
Vijay is the founder, chairman and CEO of Red Dot Power Pte Ltd, a new-age energy solutions provider in Singapore and leading player in the National Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS) and the Electricity Futures Market. Red Dot Power Pte Ltd has been at the forefront of the electricity retail market since independent retailers began market operations. The only one-stop integrated energy solution provider that offers electricity demand management and retail electricity supply to its retail electricity consumer The energy company successfully implemented a Demand Response project for the Electricity Market Authority (EMA). Hailing from an extensive background of over 37 years of experience in business development, project financing and asset management in the energy sector.
A top graduate of the prestigious Karnataka University, Vijay went on to take up various key positions within the energy sector. He was the Director of Business Development at Globeleq, where he focused on new business development for investments in power generation sector in Asia. During his decade-long tenure with El Paso Energy USA, he has helped to develop IPP projects in India, Bangladesh and Indonesia. Prior to joining El Paso, Vijay was the Director of Oil and Gas Group Business Development with ABB for 12 years and prior to those two years in a State Power Utility in India.
Aashish Mehta, Co-Founder, CEO, TransferFi
Aashish is a serial innovator and a tinkerer that has 8 years of experience within a cutting edge hi-tech firm, National Instruments, consulting system level solutions and representing ASEAN as the Industrial Internet of Things and Big Analog Data expert. Mr. Aashish Mehta graduated from University of Wisconsin, USA, with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined NI in 2007 as an Application Engineer in USA, then moved on to the Singapore office as an FPGA Specialist and later took on the Application Engineering Manager role for NI ASEAN. He then managed the Marketing team for NI ASEAN, providing technical consultation to customers across the ASEAN region, evangelize NI, be a thought leader on panels, industry forums, professional groups and advise on new technologies or high-growth areas. His field of interest is in FPGAs. Currently, with his experience from NI, various startups, multiple DIY projects, he is working on TransferFi.

Katarina is Founder of Enrupt, open innovation platform for energy sector. Katarina has 15 years of professional experience in energy from government & consulting in Europe, Middle East & South-East Asia. She founded EnRupt to support the ongoing transformation of the energy sector to be closer to the customer, using cleaner, renewable sources, and leveraging digital technologies. She is driving this transformation by building partnerships between young, innovative startups and corporations.
Katarina is Vice President on the Board of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (Industry association, HQ in Belgium) and Female Founders (Non-profit, HQ in Singapore). She is always looking out for opportunities to support energy sector transformation and champion gender equality.

The speakers will also discuss the appeal of a modular approach to scaling up quantum systems for greater computational power and complexity. Finally, we will look into some of the recent experimental progress in implementing quantum error correction, logical operations, and quantum algorithms using superconducting microwave circuits.Topics:
OpenGov published an article on how innovation and technology have contributed to the growth in Singapore’s tourism sector. The FinLab, a joint-venture between UOB and SGInnovate, announced its collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) last year to help travel agencies advance their businesses through a digital transformation programme for businesses. Through a three-month acceleration programme, travel agencies learnt how to identify the areas that hinder growth and which can be resolved through technology. The STB also implemented measures to promote technology adoption and work towards smart hotels, aiming to boost productivity and create high value-added jobs to attract and retain talents in the hotel industry. Finally, Alipay, Sentosa and STB also announced the launch of Alipay’s payment solutions across 70 percent of the merchants that participate in the Sentosa Islander Membership programme, making Sentosa the first major integrated leisure destination in Singapore to go cashless for Chinese visitors.
