In the very near future, current jobs and different aspects of people's life will be significantly impacted by artificial intelligence. This can conjure up many problems if ethics are not included in the growth of Artificial Intelligence. Learn how organisations are combating these ethical problems and what the future looks like for AI from some well-known women experts in the AI field - an industry thought to be dominated by males.

Speakers’ Profiles:

Sunita Kannan, ASEAN Lead for AI Advisory/Strategy and Responsible AI, Accenture

Sunita is currently the ASEAN Lead for AI Advisory/Strategy and Responsible AI at Accenture. She has a wealth of experience in managing and delivering Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence work for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries.

Before consulting, Sunita was a PhD Quantum Physics student at the University of Colorado (Boulder). She holds a Master of Science in Quantum Physics and a Bachelors in Mathematics and Physics (distinction and honours) from Wellesley College (MA, USA).

Sunita’s research and interpersonal skills have helped her achieve a solid balance between EQ and IQ. With this, Sunita constantly aims to transcend the norm and deliver real and immersive experiences for her clients.

Renee Lo, GM of Data & AI, Microsoft Corporation

Renee leads specialists across Asia to support digital transformation, leveraging advanced technologies from both Microsoft and its partners. Her team supports Microsoft’s strategic customers, sharing industry best practices and providing technical leadership on advanced technologies.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Renee championed numerous initiatives at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon.com, including building the data and AI team, growing and developing its consumer cloud storage solutions, and launching new Amazon.com services. Her achievements include driving strategic telco partnerships, pioneering consumer electronics integration and establishing various royalty models for Amazon’s users around the world.

Renee has also held global roles at major technology companies, including Pivotal Corporation and SAP, leading product development teams and developing business and channel strategies.
