Speakers’ Profiles:

Ashish Gupta, Director, Cybersecurity - South East Asia Consulting, PwC

Ashish Gupta is a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Cybersecurity, Strategy and Risk Management consulting practice. He is a global executive with 13 years of management consulting experience in strategy, planning, architecture, implementing and operating Cyber Security, Risk and Digital solutions for companies in multiple industries. He prepares C-level executives to present their strategy, plans and roadmap to board level members. Clients recognize Ashish for his unique blend of technical expertise and sharp business acumen. He has established himself as a “change agent” and trusted advisor for his clients.

As a Director, he plays a pivotal role in projects delivery, practice growth initiatives, firm recruiting, staff performance appraisal and client relationship enhancement activities. Before moving to Dallas, Ashish was instrumental in setting up a 15 member Information Security & Risk management practice in the Midwest region in 2010 and set up the first onshore-offshore model in the region for PwC US. Ashish also spent two years at PwC India where he worked with clients such as World Bank, Govt. of India and several FMCG and Telecom companies. Prior to PwC, he worked with Perot Systems as a business analyst and served Fortune 50 clients to set up the enterprise technology platforms.

Ashish is a Computer Science engineering graduate from NIT Durgapur in India and MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. 

Manan Qureshi, APAC Head of SSRC, Associate Partner - APAC, APAC Cyber Resiliency Focal - Security Services, IBM

In his previous tenures, Manan has worked in leadership roles on both on the management consulting side and the consumer side across APAC, Middle East, Europe and North America. He has managed multi-country portfolios across Cyber, Organisational Resilience and GRC in a range of verticals including Finance, Defence, Telecom, Government and R&D. In his previous Role at Riyad Bank - Manan has led the seismic shift in their Cyber Security and Organizational Resilience program – and was instrumental in driving convergence across both silos.

He also participated in Digitalization Roadmap of the organization that had stringent regulatory requirements of cross-geo operations. At KPMG, Devoteam and Accenture, he was focused on leading engagements relating to Enterprise Risk Management, Cyber Resilience, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Governance Risk and Compliance across Financial, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Telco & Defence Sectors.

Manan speaks regularly on the speaking circuit across various leading global forums – the last three being the CISO Conference in Dubai, Emerging Cyber Threat Summit in Australia and the RiskSec Conference in Toronto. Manan holds his Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Cyprus - along with other industry-specific academic accreditations.

Jayantika Soni, Co-Founder & CTO, RESYNC

Dr. Jayantika Soni is the co-founder and CTO of Resync, an early-stage startup which builds AI-driven energy cloud and makes power systems with renewables more efficient by advanced control and machine learning algorithms. She started Resync with another co-founder, Emir, in late 2017.

Dr. Soni holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the National University of Singapore and a bachelors from IIT (BHU), Varanasi.

Sachin Rathi, Vice President - Ecosystem, Alliances and Partnerships - MindSphere IoT - APAC, Siemens

Sachin is leading the Siemens MindSphere IoT - Ecosystem, Alliances and Partnerships business for the APAC region. As part of IoT business, he is driving cloud-connected solution opportunities to market and build Industry Specific/Cross-Industry business solutions/patterns with Ecosystem Partners (SI’s and ISV’s), IoT Device Partners and High Potential Strategic Accounts.

Over the last 20 years, Sachin has held leadership roles in Incubation Business Development, Partner & GSI Management, Advisory Services, Management/Technology Consulting and Enterprise Product Development for ERP, CRM, Cloud and IoT. In the early days of his career, he was building enterprise products with SAP (Research & Innovation), i2 Technologies, Hyperion - where he architected the core components of SAP Business by Design Suite, i2 SRM Suite and Hyperion BPM Suite. Sachin has Led Intellectual Property (IP) initiative that resulted in the filing of Four (4) Patent disclosures and more than a dozen patent ideas. During his past 11 years at Microsoft, he was incubating new businesses, initially with Dynamics 365 and then with Azure and IoT.
