Building Asia's Sustainable Businesses
Presented by SGInnovate
Partnered with JST and JETRO
In support of Deep Tech for Good and SG Women in Tech.
In a 2021 Global 100 Index of the world's most sustainable corporations released by Canada-based media and research firm Corporate Knights, the Global 100 list continues to be made up mostly of Western companies - with almost half (41) from Europe and 33 from the United States and Canada.
Against the backdrop of COVID-19 disruptions, the pandemic has highlighted the need for us to be even more sustainable and resilient. But with Asian companies making up only 17 of the 100 firms featured in this Global 100 index, what are we doing or not doing that is lacking and hindering us in the sustainability journey?
At this session, join our panel of corporate leaders to discuss some of the factors supporting and challenging businesses in Asia to be more sustainable in the current economic climate. They will also cover sustainability trends that will affect sourcing strategies and supply chains, access to finance, employee engagement, sustainability leadership and increasingly, market and consumer engagement.
